Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Day shift) with rotating on-call coverage (averages 1 week every 4th week); may transition to rotating 12-hour shifts once lead tech is hired
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging exams using Siemens CT scanners to support accurate diagnosis
- Operate and document studies in EPIC and transfer images to Merge PACS with attention to detail
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by following radiation safety protocols and patient positioning best practices
- Communicate clearly with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to streamline patient care
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond professionally during assigned call periods
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any operational issues to biomedical engineering or lead techs
- Contribute to a positive departmental culture by mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices
Qualifications
- Experience performing CT imaging (explicit requirement)
- Familiarity with EPIC and Merge PACS systems (explicit requirement)
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred (listed as helpful)
- Comfort and availability for on-call rotation (averages 1 week every 4th week)
- Current state radiologic technologist license or eligibility (preferred)
- ARRT certification or equivalent in radiography/CT preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or equivalent clinical experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven skill in CT imaging workflows and image quality optimization
- Working knowledge of EPIC electronic health record documentation
- Experience using Merge PACS for image archiving and retrieval
- Hands-on familiarity with Siemens CT scanner operation
- Strong patient care, communication, and positioning skills
- Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
- Ability to perform under the occasional on-call responsibilities
