Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate patient care and ensure safety throughout each shift
• Administer treatments and medications according to policy and physician orders
• Perform accurate, timely documentation to maintain clear patient records
• Monitor and assess patient status, reporting changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges to keep patient flow smooth
• Collaborate with nurses, providers and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Educate patients and families in a friendly, respectful way to promote recovery and wellness

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
• Comfortable working the assigned day shift and committing to every other weekend
• Ability to work a travel contract assignment (start date 2026-02-02, end date 2026-03-02)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous LPN experience preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing / LPN program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and bedside nursing skills
• Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Accurate documentation and charting practices
• Infection control and patient safety principles
• Time management, adaptability and effective teamwork
• Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
