Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week, schedule reviewed during interview)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to guide patient recovery
Develop personalized plans of care that make real differences
Assist with rounds and care conferences to ensure seamless team coordination
Communicate frequently with the rehab team on patient progress and needs
Float between acute, swing, nursing home, and outpatient services as needed
Deliver treatments in patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and rehab gym

Qualifications

Active NC Physical Therapy license
CPR certification
At least 2 years of experience, preferably 3+ years in hospital or nursing home settings

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in hospital and nursing home rehab environments
Strong skills in patient evaluations and progress tracking
Comfortable using Cerner and NetHealth documentation systems
Team collaboration and clear communication on equipment and discharge planning
