Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in the acute care hospital setting to pinpoint their rehab needs
Develop personalized care plans that drive real recovery and functional gains
Apply specialized therapy techniques to improve patient conditions and mobility
Coordinate therapeutic care across a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and techs
Communicate progress updates to patients, families, and staff for seamless support

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy
BLS certification
At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in acute care physical therapy procedures
Experience in orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary rehab is a huge plus
Comfort navigating Cerner Power Chart documentation
Skill with patient lifting equipment like SARA+ and gait training tools
