Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory treatments and care for patients with breathing challenges like asthma, pneumonia and emphysema
Operate advanced equipment including Servo I ventilators, Hamilton ventilators, V60 and Astral CPAP/BIPAP machines
Perform critical procedures and ABGs to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and a tight-knit team in a high-volume 437-bed hospital
Manage 44-46 procedures per shift while prioritizing patient safety and comfort

Qualifications

Active RRT license
BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications required
At least 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Ready to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Trauma experience preferred
Expertise in nebulizers, CPT and blood gas analysis
Strong critical thinking and patient-focused approach
Comfortable with collaborative physician relationships
