Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day Shift (must be able to take call)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Coordinate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs to ensure top-notch patient outcomes
Guide and direct team members while upholding the highest nursing standards
Foster efficient patient flow and collaborate across departments for continuous quality care
Participate in performance improvement, unit meetings, and in-services as a valued team contributor

Qualifications

Active, current California RN License
Minimum 1 year of perioperative experience or equivalent on-the-job training
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
Pre/Post Op experience to hit the ground running
CNOR Certification preferred for those extra stars

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

EPIC EMR proficiency for smooth documentation
Strong perioperative and pre/post-op expertise
Ability to handle neonates through older adults with confidence
Team coordination and leadership in fast-paced OR environments
