Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Night (3x12-hour block schedule); holidays required; may float as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans using GE, Philips and Siemens systems to support excellent patient care
- Operate and maintain PACS workflows and document exams accurately in Epic
- Provide compassionate patient preparation and education, ensuring safety and comfort from neonates to geriatrics
- Collaborate with radiology and interdisciplinary teams to prioritize emergent and trauma studies
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and best practices to protect patients and staff
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and escalate technical issues to biomedical engineering when needed
- Participate in block scheduling and holiday coverage while supporting unit staffing needs
Qualifications
- ARRT-CT certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Minimum 1 year CT experience required
- Active state radiologic technologist license required (pending licenses are not accepted)
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers are accepted
- Comfort working in a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital environment
- Ability to work nights, including holiday coverage, and to float as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with CT scanning protocols and cross-sectional imaging
- Experienced with GE, Philips and Siemens CT equipment
- Skilled in using PACS for image management and Epic for charting
- Strong patient care, positioning, and IV/contrast administration knowledge
- Ability to prioritize urgent/trauma cases and work collaboratively under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
