Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents—assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Support mobility and safe transfers while using proper body mechanics to keep everyone safe
• Monitor residents’ conditions and document observations clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver individualized, respectful care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Engage residents in daily activities and meaningful conversation to promote quality of life

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — bring your pride in patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or as required by facility
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent; High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident-centered care
• Safe transfer and positioning techniques
• Accurate documentation and charting practices
• Infection control and standard precautions knowledge
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize resident needs
