Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and support daily living activities with dignity
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility to maintain comfort and safety
• Monitor and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support feeding and meal-time assistance while following dietary instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control and facility policies
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated patient care
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Basic vital sign measurement and patient observation
• Infection prevention and safe patient handling practices
• Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn documentation systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
