Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages using appropriate radiologic modalities
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively to produce reliable diagnostic images
• Lead patient and department workflow to ensure timely, compassionate care throughout the imaging process
• Use departmental software and personal computers to document exams, maintain records, and communicate results
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and clinical teams to coordinate care
• Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations at all times
• Act independently with sound judgment while collaborating with colleagues to improve departmental operations

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in relevant modality
• Current Oregon license or valid temporary Oregon permit (recent graduates may hold temporary permit prior to ARRT registry)
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Image Wisely and Image Gently pledge certificates (obtainable within 30 days of hire and maintained annually)
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
• Three years of hospital experience preferred, though new grads and candidates with less experience will be considered

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to perform patient imaging exams across modalities (Radiologic Technology, Mammography, CT, MRI)
• Skilled in operating imaging and office equipment with strong attention to safety and image quality
• Comfortable using personal computers and various clinical software programs
• Strong interdepartmental communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage patient and department workflow, prioritizing care and timeliness
• Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional conduct
