Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, full-time (varied start/end times by schedule; 80 hours per two-week pay period)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages, producing reliable diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively across modalities
- Lead patient and department workflow daily, ensuring smooth, timely care
- Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Use PC systems and specialty imaging software to document exams and manage results
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with clinical teams and departments
- Think and act independently with minimal supervision while escalating concerns appropriately
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional interactions
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program (required)
- Current ARRT certification in the relevant modality (required)
- Current Oregon license or valid temporary Oregon permit (or recent graduate with temporary permit prior to ARRT registry)
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Image Wisely and Image Gently pledge certificates (obtain within 30 days of hire if not already held)
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three years of hospital experience preferred, but new grads and applicants with less experience will be considered
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong proficiency in patient imaging exams and modality-specific techniques (Radiologic Technology, Mammography, CT, MRI)
- Comfortable operating imaging equipment and troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Proficient with PCs and imaging/software systems used in radiology workflow
- Excellent interdepartmental communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lead patient flow and departmental processes with professionalism
- Commitment to patient safety, radiation safety principles, and quality imaging practices
