Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications, treatments, and document responses accurately
• Perform thorough assessments and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to create safe, individualized care plans
• Support resident comfort and dignity through daily personal care and communication
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with facility protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license (must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required by facility)
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Reliable, professional demeanor with excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work 12+ hour day shifts as scheduled

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/licensed practical nurse program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment skills and familiarity with medication administration
• Experience with wound care, IV therapy basics, and common long-term care procedures
• Comfortable documenting care in electronic medical records
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and care teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
