Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents to preserve dignity and comfort
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and mobility assistance while using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident responses
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
• Help create a calm, friendly environment that promotes resident wellbeing and engagement

Qualifications

• Active GNA certification (Class: GNA) is required
• Comfort and ability to work the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
• Meet facility onboarding requirements, including background checks and health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience supporting activities of daily living and basic geriatric care
• Ability to observe, document and communicate resident status clearly
• Familiarity with safe patient handling and infection prevention practices
• Compassionate bedside manner and patience with older adults
