Shift Type: AM and PM shifts with evening and weekend coverage; specific start/end times vary by route and will be provided during scheduling (rotating/variable shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and process portable X-ray exams using digital (DR) or computed (CR) systems and ensure diagnostic-quality images
- Setup, unload, and transport portable imaging equipment safely into nursing homes and healthcare facilities
- Acquire and transmit EKGs when required and forward to a Cardiologist for interpretation
- Transmit imaging studies and EKGs promptly to Radiologists/Cardiologists for timely reads
- Scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documentation daily per protocol
- Maintain and perform basic upkeep on vehicle and imaging equipment to ensure reliable service
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with dispatch, management, clinical staff, and clients
- Provide compassionate patient care and proper positioning to obtain clinically useful exams
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- State radiologic technologist license for California required (limited licenses not accepted)
- Valid driver’s license in good standing in the applicable state
- COVID-19 booster required or documentation for approved exemption
- Ability to safely push/pull and handle equipment (50–100 lbs; use of ramps and pulleys reduces load)
- Experience with mobile/portable radiography and EKG acquisition preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with long-term care staff and residents
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ARRT certification and active California radiologic technologist license required
Knowledge & Skills
- Portable X-ray operation and safety
- Digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) workflows
- EKG acquisition and transmission processes
- Patient care, positioning, and infection control for post-acute settings
- Image processing and secure transmission to Radiology/Cardiology
- Daily documentation, paperwork scanning, and basic billing support
- Vehicle operation, basic maintenance, and route logistics
- Professional communication with dispatch, management, and clinical teams
