Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Assess and document patient conditions, changes, and interventions
• Communicate clearly with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families
• Support safe transitions of care and accurate handoffs between shifts
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or compact RN license welcomed
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
• Experience in acute or long-term care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and teamwork attitude
• Ability to meet facility immunization and onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
