Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices to prevent falls and injuries
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
- Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean, safe environment
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, offering dignity and respect in every interaction
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — T-CNA accepted
- Able and willing to work overnight shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) on the scheduled days
- Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working as part of a team
- Must meet facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations, license verification)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding and mobility assistance
- Strong observation skills for monitoring patient condition and reporting changes
- Good communication and teamwork — you’ll collaborate closely with nurses and support staff
- Basic charting and documentation abilities; attention to detail is a must
- Compassionate approach to patient-centered care and dignity preservation
