Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform all CT exams, including advanced CTA and perfusion imaging, with precision and compassion
- Operate and optimize GE CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of studies in the hospital’s system
- Collaborate closely with ER staff and ultrasound techs to support patient flow and care
- Maintain patient safety and comfort while following ARRT and State of Florida standards
- Support unit staffing and scheduling needs as part of a 24-hour coverage model
- Contribute to a positive patient experience and uphold department policies and guidelines
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in CT and ARRT (Radiology) required
- Active State of Florida radiologic technologist license required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience as indicated in the job posting
- Experience working with GE imaging equipment preferred
- Comfortable performing CTA and perfusion studies and handling a variety of CT procedures
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of CT imaging protocols, including CTA and perfusion techniques
- Familiarity with radiographic imaging and radiography (X-ray) workflows
- Experience using GE imaging equipment and related documentation systems
- Strong patient communication and positioning skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, single-tech coverage environment
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills with ER and ultrasound colleagues
