Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform all CT exams, including advanced CTA and perfusion imaging, with precision and compassion
• Operate and optimize GE CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of studies in the hospital’s system
• Collaborate closely with ER staff and ultrasound techs to support patient flow and care
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while following ARRT and State of Florida standards
• Support unit staffing and scheduling needs as part of a 24-hour coverage model
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and uphold department policies and guidelines

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT and ARRT (Radiology) required
• Active State of Florida radiologic technologist license required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience as indicated in the job posting
• Experience working with GE imaging equipment preferred
• Comfortable performing CTA and perfusion studies and handling a variety of CT procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of CT imaging protocols, including CTA and perfusion techniques
• Familiarity with radiographic imaging and radiography (X-ray) workflows
• Experience using GE imaging equipment and related documentation systems
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, single-tech coverage environment
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills with ER and ultrasound colleagues
