Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, biopsies and drainages with precision and attention to patient safety
• Provide critical care support for radiology patients, monitoring vitals and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and techs to coordinate efficient, high-quality procedural care
• Use Meditech for documentation and charting to ensure accurate patient records and continuity of care
• Maintain sterile technique and equipment preparation during procedures, ensuring compliance with unit policies
• Educate and prepare patients and families for procedures in a calm, reassuring manner

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (required)
• Experience in interventional radiology procedures (angios, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, biopsies, drainages)
• Meditech experience preferred for documentation
• Current FL nursing license (listed in hiring profile)
• BLS required; ACLS required (as listed for RNs) — bring current certifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with interventional radiology workflows and procedure room protocols
• Critical care patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Proficient Meditech documentation and electronic charting
• Ability to anticipate procedural needs and assist the team efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical environments
• Sterile technique, patient positioning, and equipment handling expertise
