Shift Type: Rotating night shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night shift), every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry continuously and promptly recognize and escalate arrhythmias
- Provide expert post-procedure care for patients after TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman procedures, and pacemaker placements
- Administer and titrate cardiac drips safely and according to unit protocols
- Manage device-related care including pacemakers and CardioMEMS monitoring
- Document patient care accurately in Allscripts and ensure clear, timely handoffs
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, PCTs, and monitor techs to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on procedures, device care, recovery expectations, and follow-up
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with telemetry or cardiac experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Hands-on experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips
- Experience caring for post-TAVR, ablation, Watchman, pacemaker, and STEMI patients
- Comfortable documenting in Allscripts and working with monitor techs
Education
- Registered Nurse licensure (RN) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of telemetry interpretation and monitoring
- Familiarity with post-procedure cardiac care and critical cardiac interventions
- Skilled in titration and management of cardiac drips
- Experience with cardiac devices including pacemakers and CardioMEMS
- Solid clinical documentation skills in Allscripts
- Effective communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
