Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule varies with every-other-weekend coverage required (primarily 12-hour nights)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to med-surg and moderate-acuity patients with compassion and clinical confidence
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, respond promptly to alarms, and escalate concerns to the care team
- Administer medications and manage IV/Alaris pump therapies safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, techs, and support staff — to create effective care plans
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document care in the Sunrise EMR to ensure continuity and accuracy
- Support safe patient handling for bariatric and vascular patients, maintaining dignity and comfort
- Mentor and communicate clearly with unit staff to maintain optimal patient ratios and flow during shifts
Qualifications
- Current RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience (telemetry/med-surg experience preferred and explicitly requested)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Strong telemetry monitoring experience (must-have)
- Comfortable working with Sunrise EMR and common unit equipment such as Alaris pumps and bladder scanners
- Ability to work nights and cover every-other-weekend rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Med-Surg telemetry patient care and moderate-acuity management
- Familiarity with Sunrise EMR documentation
- Proficient with Alaris infusion pumps, dynamaps, bladder scanners, and other common inpatient equipment
- Safe patient handling techniques, including care for bariatric patients
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment
