Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure instrumentation is ready and safe for every procedure
- Prepare the operating room and supplies in a neat, efficient manner for each case
- Communicate clearly with the perioperative team to support excellent patient care following AORN standards
- Handle, pass, and troubleshoot surgical instruments during cases with confidence and attention to detail
- Stock and order supplies to keep the department running smoothly
- Provide additional intraoperative patient support as directed by the surgical team
Qualifications
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) — may be obtained upon hire if needed
- Preferred: 2 years recent O.R. experience
- Preferred: Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST)
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Able to safely function in a high-elevation environment (approximately 8,000-foot elevation)
- Travelers must arrange their own housing and be prepared for local living conditions
Knowledge & Skills
- Sterile technique and sterile field maintenance
- Familiarity with a wide range of surgical instruments and instrument handling
- Perioperative care and intraoperative patient support
- Operating room preparation and supply management
- Perioperative communication and teamwork aligned with AORN standards
- Stocking and ordering supplies efficiently
- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
