Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and mobility support
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
• Document resident care and observations clearly and timely in the chart or EHR
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families and interdisciplinary team members
• Support safe transfers and fall prevention measures for every resident
• Follow infection control, safety policies and facility procedures consistently

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required immunizations
• Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting resident-centered care
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to represent the facility professionally

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of basic patient care and ADLs
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observations
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Good communication, empathy and time management
