Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education
- Document progress clearly and communicate updates with the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to maximize patient outcomes
- Coach patients and families for safe discharge and home programs
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapist license required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
- Part-time availability and ability to start immediately
- Previous outpatient or acute care PT experience preferred
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient assessment, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise
- Comfortable with outcome measures and goal-driven treatment
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Team-oriented mindset and problem-solving approach
