Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-informed mental health care to patients as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans
Deliver therapy and crisis intervention when needed, prioritizing patient safety and recovery
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered services
Document clinical care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
Support discharge planning and connect patients with appropriate community resources
Participate in training and team meetings to continuously improve care quality

Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California required
Active experience in mental health settings (inpatient or outpatient) preferred
Comfortable working the posted schedules (Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 4x10s)
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and crisis intervention skills
Valid CA license and ability to pass background and credentialing checks
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams

Education

Master of Social Work (MSW) required; LCSW credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment approaches
Patient-centered care and strong therapeutic rapport building
Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic health records
Crisis management and safety planning
Time management and ability to adapt to variable schedules
Interdisciplinary teamwork and care coordination
