Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care during assigned day shifts
Perform timely assessments, document findings clearly, and communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and per facility policy
Collaborate with colleagues to create and follow individualized care plans
Maintain accurate, professional charting in the electronic health record
Support patient education and discharge planning with clear, respectful communication

Qualifications

Current Maryland LPN or RN license in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Previous clinical experience preferred; per-diem friendly to experienced and returning clinicians
Current immunizations and background checks as required by facility
Reliable, professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Education

LPN: Practical nursing diploma or certificate
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Familiarity with standard nursing procedures and safety protocols
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
Teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered communication
