Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including left/right heart caths and angioplasty/stent cases
• Serve in circulating and scrub roles as appropriate for the case and your licensure
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and follow radiation safety protocols
• Support structural heart procedures and device implants such as TAVR, TMVR, LAAC (Watchman), Micra, ICD and pacemaker implants
• Use IVUS, ICE and atherectomy technologies during interventions when indicated
• Document procedural and peri-procedural care accurately in Meditech EMR
• Provide excellent peri-procedural patient care and clear communication with the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for circulator role (required)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with ARRT certification and fluoroscopy authorization for scrub tech role (required)
• Hands-on experience in cath lab circulating and scrub roles; candidates without these skills will not be considered
• Experience with GE and Philips cath labs, MacLab/CardioLab is highly preferred
• Comfort with structural heart cases, atrial fibrillation ablations, and device implant procedures is a plus
• Willingness to work on-call shifts and approximately one weekend per month

Education

• Current RN license or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) credential with ARRT
• Associate degree, diploma, or equivalent in Nursing or Radiologic Technology preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cath lab procedures, sterile technique, and peri-procedural patient care
• Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety best practices
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR documentation
• Familiarity with MacLab/CardioLab systems and GE/Philips imaging equipment
• Ability to assist with IVUS, ICE, atherectomy and structural heart technologies
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and the ability to stay upbeat under pressure
