Surgical Tech
Location: Redding, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons across a wide variety of cases including CVOR, total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields to ensure patient safety during every surgery
- Collaborate with the OR team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
- Support trauma, ortho, neuro, ENT, and lung cases with precision and professionalism
- Maintain equipment and supplies to keep each procedure running smoothly
Qualifications
- Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures required
- Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
- Comfortable working with Phillips Telemetry equipment
- Ability to take 1-2 weeknight calls per week and approximately one weekend call per month
- Surgical Tech certification or equivalent experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, pacers, and lead extractions
- Skilled in ortho, general, vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma surgeries
- Strong sterile technique and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative OR team
- Flexible and adaptable to varying shift lengths and call schedules
