Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
Float between facilities within a 60-mile zone, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Monitor cardiac and neurological patients while managing heparin drips and other medications
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Support patients recovering from cardiac, orthopedic, oncology, renal, and general surgery procedures
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and stay flexible to fill scheduling gaps as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Prior neuro experience preferred
Alaris pump and EPIC experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work flexible schedules including weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Comfort managing heparin drips and monitoring telemetry
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient acuities
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with EPIC documentation and Alaris pumps is a plus
