Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical overflow patients on a 32-bed unit
- Monitor and validate telemetry strips while delivering high-quality patient care
- Titrate insulin and pain medication drips to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with a highly functioning team that includes charge nurses and nursing assistants
- Float to support other units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards
- Build meaningful connections with patients and families in a family-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- BLS and Telemetry certification required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip validation
- Insulin and pain medication drip titration
- BIPAP and high-flow oxygen equipment
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
