Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage titratable drips including insulin and Cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic monitoring with real-time training support
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Float within the same level of care to support unit needs and build versatile skills
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives to ensure comfort and safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care
Hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000
Ventilator management and Alaris IV pump operation
Strong teamwork and adaptability across mixed PCU/Med-Surg units
Commitment to respectful, culturally sensitive patient care
