Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour dayshift, Monday-Sunday with weekend coverage required

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients across various age groups
Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and improve quality of life
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Maintain compliance with Hawaii state licensing requirements and facility protocols

Qualifications

Current, active Hawaii state license required
Minimum 5 years of occupational therapy experience
Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
ASHA certification preferred
CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) certification a plus
ACP Training certification required
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Experience with diverse patient populations and conditions
Proficiency in EMR documentation systems
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Adaptability to cover weekend shifts as needed
