Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, occasional weekend shifts required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including med-surg, tele, ICU, and oncology
Deliver specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-cardiac surgery recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage diverse caseload including ortho, total joints, and complex medical conditions
Support patients through their entire hospital stay from admission to discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with orthopedic conditions and total joint replacements
Comfort working with ventilated patients in ICU settings
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Experience across multiple hospital units and patient populations
Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Adaptability to varied shift times and occasional weekends
