Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids start at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for each procedure
Scrub in and assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries
Maintain sterile fields and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Handle instruments and supplies efficiently to keep procedures running smoothly

Qualifications

Current Surgical Tech certification or equivalent experience
Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment with diverse case types
Ability to take call 1-2 weeknights per week and approximately one weekend per month

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner Surginet EMR proficiency
Expertise in total joints, general surgery, vascular surgery, and spine surgery
Ability to scrub a variety of cases excluding transplant procedures
Strong attention to detail and sterile technique
