Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac monitoring and continuous EEG oversight for adult and geriatric patients
Titrate cardiac and seizure medications while maintaining safe patient ratios of 1:4-5
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to deliver exceptional nephrology, stroke, and diabetes care
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while maintaining excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Complete a skills-based orientation exam with a supportive 90% passing standard and all resources provided

Qualifications

Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal
Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration experience preferred
Positive attitude, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and continuous EEG interpretation
Titration of Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Adult and geriatric patient assessment
Critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving
