Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions
Monitor and interpret EKGs to ensure patient safety and timely interventions
Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and the care team to deliver excellent outcomes
Educate patients and families about their conditions and recovery plans
Respond quickly to changes in patient status and coordinate life-saving interventions when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Ability to pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts maximum) and Sim Lab on day one

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in centralized telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Comfortable managing patients on Airvo/High Flow oxygen
Experience with neuro and CVA patient populations
Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities
