Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and ativan with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and teams
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Support patients from adults through geriatrics with diverse diagnoses and post-surgical needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips and managing insulin, heparin, and ativan
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac drip titration and medication management skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and adapt to varying patient acuities
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
Comfort working with adult-geriatric populations across cardiac, neuro, ortho, and oncology units
