Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Ortho, and Renal
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius to support patient care needs
Monitor and manage patients on Heparin drips while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver excellent care
Adapt quickly to various units from MS-Tele to ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and ED Observation

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work flexible schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across adult-geriatric populations
Experience with cardiac monitoring, neuro assessments, and post-surgical care
Comfortable floating between General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units
Ability to titrate Heparin drips safely and effectively
Excellent communication and adaptability in dynamic float pool environments
