Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse mix of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes for patients recovering from surgery or managing complex medical needs
Precept and mentor nursing students, helping shape the next generation of caregivers
Float to sister units when needed, expanding your skills and supporting the broader hospital community

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
At least 1 year of recent Med Surg experience; telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfort managing stable CPAP and BiPAP patients
Excellent assessment and critical-thinking skills
Flexibility to float to Multi-Care and Pediatric units for adult patients
Ability to precept nursing students and support new team members
