Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases in the emergency department
Manage ventilators and deliver life-supporting treatments using advanced equipment like the PB 980 and Philips V60
Support level 2 nursery patients with bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up
Perform ABG draws, BiPAP and ventilator setups, nebulizer treatments, and assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion
Assist with intubations and collaborate with a lead therapist on every shift
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across the inpatient unit

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT certification accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong NICU experience with bubble CPAP competency for 32-week and older infants
Proven ventilator management skills
Ability to work full-time night shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and setup
Bubble CPAP and BiPAP therapy
ABG draws and analysis
Nebulizer treatments
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
Intubation assistance
Equipment proficiency with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
