Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment with precision and care
Ensure high-quality imaging using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Collaborate with the lead technologist and in-house radiologist
Maintain safety standards and patient comfort during every study

Qualifications

Active CA NMTL license required
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable floating to nearby facility when needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac and SPECT imaging
Experience with bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying
Familiarity with Radnet and Merge Unity software
Proficient with GE nuclear medicine equipment
