Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver life-saving respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across the facility
Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen therapy using advanced Hamilton and Vapotherm equipment
Perform ABGs and EKGs to support accurate patient assessment and treatment planning
Assist physicians with intubations and provide expert airway support
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes
Rotate through various units while building meaningful connections with patients and families

Qualifications

Active Kansas Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working with adults, pediatrics, and neonates

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and troubleshooting
ABG interpretation and EKG performance
High-flow oxygen and BiPAP therapy
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently as the sole RT on shift
