Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and other medications with confidence
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patient care needs and fill scheduling gaps
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
- Monitor adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses from post-surgical to stable long-term placements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
- Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and managing insulin, heparin, and ativan
- Epic experience and prior neuro background are a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac drip management and titration skills
- Ability to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile zone
- Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
- Neuro, oncology, ortho, and trauma patient care knowledge
- Flexibility to adapt to varying unit needs and schedules
