Candidate Pay Rate: $68 - $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans that support meaningful functional outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered therapy across age groups and settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care
• Document progress clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support carryover and home programs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or actively pursuing certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
• Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical environments and adapting to patient needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to care
• Clinical experience with conversational and functional goals preferred

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations
• Proven ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Familiarity with common therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
• Competent with clinical documentation and basic EMR navigation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to educate and engage patients and families in therapy goals
