Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient urgent care to patients of all ages
• Perform focused assessments, triage, and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care following protocols
• Collaborate with providers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in the chart
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California (required)
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous urgent care, ED, or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills with good judgment
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background/COVID screening

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and rapid assessment in urgent care settings
• Proficient clinical skills: IV starts, medication administration, wound management
• Clear, compassionate patient communication and education
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-paced team
• Basic familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
