Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 36 hours per week, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, every other weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver rapid, compassionate care to patients in high-stakes emergency situations
Assess and triage incoming cases with precision and calm under pressure
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat critical conditions
Administer life-saving interventions and monitor patient progress closely
Educate patients and families during vulnerable moments, providing clarity and support

Qualifications

Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
Recent Emergency Department experience
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, unpredictable environments
Completion of specialty competency testing and skills checklist

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency triage and trauma care
Proficiency with ACLS and PALS protocols
Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making
Excellent communication in high-stress scenarios
Familiarity with TNCC guidelines
