Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality PCU/IMCU nursing care to a cardiac population in a 28-bed unit
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips, including Milrinone and Dobutamine
• Administer and titrate pressors safely and effectively per unit protocols
• Assess and care for STEMI and NSTEMI patients with urgency and clinical judgment
• Deliver post-cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) care and monitor for complications
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and load required demographic/job history information
• Work within a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure safe patient care

Qualifications

• Documented PCU experience in your work history (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Hands-on experience with cardiac drips: Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors
• Experience caring for STEMI/NSTEMI patients and post-CTS care
• Comfortable working in a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Ability to provide badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic/profile information

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of PCU/IMCU care for cardiac patients
• Proficiency managing and titrating cardiac drips and pressors
• Skilled in recognizing and responding to STEMI/NSTEMI presentations
• Familiarity with post-CTS patient monitoring and complication surveillance
• Excellent clinical assessment, prioritization, and documentation skills
• Team-oriented communication with interdisciplinary staff
