Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during overnight hours
• Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and intervene as needed
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns promptly and appropriately
• Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS preferred where applicable
• Experience working 12-hour night shifts or in acute care settings preferred
• Comfort working with MST-related clinical needs and trauma-informed approaches
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
• Ability to provide trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork in fast-paced environments
• Critical thinking and prioritization during overnight coverage
