Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients using best-practice standards
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop timely nursing interventions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge planning, and follow-up
• Respond effectively to clinical changes and escalate concerns to providers as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum clinical experience on a medical-surgical unit preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred or obtainable
• Strong patient assessment, medication administration, and IV skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and adult patient care
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Skill in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage multiple patients safely
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family education and team collaboration
• Critical thinking and clinical judgment in fast-paced settings
