Shift Type: 8.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed) — RN - MED/SURG (orientation included)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Participate in orientation and precepting activities to support team onboarding

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) credential — active and appropriate for practice
Experience or strong interest in Med/Surg nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Current immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Familiarity with Med/Surg nursing practices and common interventions
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced hospital setting
