Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely
Monitor patients for changes and escalate concerns appropriately
Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to practice in the facility’s state)
Med/Surg experience — comfortable managing multiple patients and priorities
BLS certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and maintain high standards of care

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy
Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond quickly in dynamic situations
